Trauma & PTSD
Many individuals can experience symptoms associated with painful and traumatic circumstances. Anxiety, fear, and hopelessness are a few emotions that can linger post traumatic events. We can help you overcome these symptoms and guide you through the process of grief and healing. As a Trauma trainer for 4 years; I have gained tools to assist you in successfully addressing traumatic experiences which have resulted in the flight, fight or freeze responses. Let's begin with an Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACES) questionnaire to identify any childhood or adult traumas.
Online Services
Counseling can be beneficial to individuals and couples who are looking to strengthen their overall emotional wellbeing without commuting into the traditional office setting. Online sessions are held from the safety of your own home at a time that is convenient for you through our easy scheduling platform.
Trauma Focused Parenting Classes
PACE offers a comprehensive parenting program that is empowerment based and focuses on the impact trauma has when parenting. Emphasis is placed on substance abuse, mental health, family relationships, child well-being, emotional/physical well-being, basic needs of family and child, differentiating physical safety from emotional safety, parenting the sexual and physically abused child and the parents role in ensuring safety.
Pre & Post Adoption Counseling
PACE Services provide comprehensive adoption services including counseling prior to a trial home placement to ensure both children and prospective adoptive parents are ready for adoption and address any potential barriers to a strong adoption process; as well as counseling after the adoption is finalized to prevent disruptions. We also offer private adoption home studies and profiles.
